10 Productivity Tipps
You never even thought of.

Are you bored of hearing the same advice over and over again? Like do this, keep a list.
Write it down. Listen. Be focused. Don’t get distracted.

This will be a growing document. So you’ll definitely want to check back after some time.

How to use this guide:

Foreword

Be aware that this guide is not completely filled yet. But soon it will outperform the just 10 points and you’ll definitely find a lot more information.

This is mainly important and crucial for your success in the long run.

Take responsibility for yourself.

What does this mean? Don’t get attached to me in terms of your success.
For sure you’re free to ask me for advice and I’ll answer the best I can.
But you have to take full responsibility to help yourself pushing through.
Apply the knowledge here. Don’t just take it in and hope for anything magically to change.

Commit

Make a commitment to execute on this and give every point on this list a try.
For the personal development, part give yourself 30 days.
Commit means to do everything to try to create a habit out of these things.
If you need more information on this
I’d highly recommend reading Stephen Covey’s habits of highly effective people*.

What you put in you’ll get out.

This is very counterintuitive though the sentence appears crystal clear.
It means not that if you put in 2$ in something you get the same amount back.
Which would be pretty neat. Because that would mean all the money you spent you get immediately back.
No, it’s not about that.

This sentence means clearly and only:

The amount of time and effort you put in you’ll reap.
In other words: If you put 50% effort in you get 50% of the benefits the program provides.
So put in everything to get everything out.

Execute on it Immediately

Don’t procrastinate or you’re doomed to fail. No, that’s not to scare you.
Just experience shows what it’s likely to be for most of us.
If you – however- can’t execute on it right now, put a reminder in your phone or email
so you will get a notification and don’t forget about it.

About the Document itself

The first half of tips (1-5) will be tips on how to switch up your productivity.
The second half will be about personal development mainly.
How to push through by eliminating some of your limiting beliefs or reprogramming those.

Please note that everything offered here is still no magic pill.
But a big catalyst and transformer.

Start Here

This is why I made up a list for you guys with some programs,
things to do and stuff that is not so common.
Not obvious and still very helpful.

1.) Nimble Text

Do you work a lot using lists? Tabular tests? Tabular data? Databases?
Then Nimble Text will do you great favors. It resided a long time in the depths of the internet.
How did I find it? Actually, I had no idea that it even existed when I was writing my Search & Replace Tool.

Really great you can either

Get Nimble Text here

or try it live in real time on its website with no limits in terms of how many times you want to use it.

Be aware however only the registered version contains all features that are available in Nimble-Text.
Unfortunately, not even one single video exists on the internet about this program only the gif I’ve included.
And either about similar programs. I guess in the future I might even do a comparison and compilation of all the tools
that you can use to accomplish similar tasks.

2.) Everything (Windows PC) / Find any File (Mac)

Everything

Find Any File

“Find Any File searches your local disks for files by name, creation or modification date, size, or type and creator code (not by content, though). As there are other tools with a similar search operation, here are the special features unique to Find Any File:

Has a new hierarchical view of the found items, making it much easier to browse 100s of items.
Can run as root user, finding really any file on your disk, even those that are hidden from normal users.
Can save queries and run them again later.
Is quite fast: About 10 times faster than EasyFind 4.0.1 when searching for a file name (Mac Pro with 2 million files, searching “httpd.conf”: EasyFile: 150s, this app: 15s)

Unlike Spotlight (i.e. the Finders Find command), it does not access a pre-built database but searches the chosen volume directly. This allows you to find any file, even those inside packages and others excluded from Spotlight search. Hence it is great for finding system files, for example.
On the other hand, it may take a little longer than Spotlight, and it is only fast on HFS(+) volumes. But even on mounted network volumes of a Mac OS X server, it can still be surprisingly fast.

Hence, this is not an entire replacement for Spotlight but it can come handy in certain, if not many, situations.”

3.) Search And Replace

Pre-Alpha

Search And Replace is per se NimbleText on Steroids because before I found it,
I was in need of such a program. So I assembled it over a long time. And the most interesting thing is:
The implementation does not take long. Here, the experience makes the most of the substance.

You can for example:

  • Capitalize all your text.
  • Converting every text to lowercase only.
  • Correct punctuation
  • Work with CSV data of excel files
  • And do a lot of other things to increase your productivity.

“At the moment” I am still improving the software.
Why is at the moment in quotes? Because it takes me quite a long time because the program got huge.
And therefore you can still download the program as a pre-alpha version.

4.) Use SEMRUSH

5.) Visualize

Skyrocket your business by using some powerful imagination and visualization techniques.
Try to imagine what you’d like to achieve. The interesting thing is even if you have no experience at all,
and you don’t even know how to achieve completely this will trigger your subconscious and help you
to make it work.

Your brain cannot differentiate well between real action and mental action. I mentioned that already before.
There has been researching done showing that thinking about an action — even while your body is at rest — will fire the neural pathways in your brain just as you were actually doing it.

Mental Theater

This is about imagining you sitting in your own mental movie theater. You’ve created it, engineered it, thought of it by the pure power of your free thoughts. There are no limits.

Imagine everything. As much as possible.
The smells, the odor, what it looks like until the last screw and the color or pattern on the vases there.
And what it feels like to be there. And how it feels like to touch something. The cloth of the seat. The floor. And hear the noises and the sound. You might even taste some popcorn, coke, ice, chocolate or fruits.

You make yourself comfortable in your also thoroughly imagined chair and the movie is about to start.
Starring: YOU. Yes. YOU are the main character of the movie in your life.
This movie is exactly showing what you try to learn, what you want to achieve. It’s showing you.
At your best form. You already see how you are successful in what you want to achieve.
Turn up the volume, the colors stronger, the screen larger. And experience the 3D effect.

Mental Rehearsal

This is like when you’re practicing for real. But instead, you imagine it.
If you’d like to learn how to play drums, you see yourself doing it.
When you want to learn how to play the piano or the guitar you see yourself practicing.

To make the differences a little bit clearer:

In the Mental Theater, you would be on stage playing your guitar.

In the Mental Rehearsal, you might be at home or on a mountain or wherever you are, imagining
how you’re trying to play compose or whatever you’d like to learn or be.

In the Mental Theater, you would the Hollywood star as a famous seducer or be a hero in an action movie.

In the Mental Rehearsal, you might be in town or on a ship or wherever you are, imagining how to learn these things.

Only your imagination is the limit.

This I’d say is really some form of

purposeful daydreaming.

You will notice that this actually DOES improve your skills.
But it’s not an excuse to keep you from taking ACTION.
You need to do both.

6.) Develop your Ideas

Grow your ideas means that you don’t have to have an idea no one had had before.
No. It means you can take any little idea and grow something unique from them.

Let me give you an example, let’s say you want to make an app. And let’s assume you don’t even have an idea yet.

What type of app? Just go to google play store and watch the apps.
Choose any category you like. For example, I get some messenger apps.

  • messenger apps
  • Shazam
  • Photo manipulation apps
  • Games
  • Music Editors
  • Organizers
  • Contact Managers

Now choose one of the categories. Try out the features of every app in this category.
Too much work to try and install all? Then just collect at least 10 or 20.
Make notes which feature you like in each and every app.
And with more apps your trying you will notice one or another feature you might
have liked in one app is missing in another app.

Now you can choose to combine them and you got a new app.

That’s one style to go about growing your idea.

7.) The Sedona Method

I’ve stumbled across this several times as well as the complimentary opposite exercise.
The method is well-known in some realms and areas and produces incredible results.
And you don’t have to do it with another person. You can do it on your one.

Anyhow, I’d advise you to execute them together with a friend.

Because the same way you really can’t tickle yourself – because your subconsciousness knows what’s coming –
the effect is way bigger if a friend guides you through. In turn, you can also do this with a friend.

8.) The Lefkoe Method

This is a method for eliminating beliefs very rapidly.
I will add more soon.

9.) Meditate

Set aside some time this year to master this which people all over the world are practicing for more than 1000 years.
Your mind, your spirit, your intelligence and your body and not the least your business, will be grateful for this.
Because it means you’ll learn to be a lot more grateful, becoming aware why you encounter certain issues.
And overall you gain an increase in health, focus, and awareness of your body.
It’s a way to increase your mindfulness, openness and your chakras.

I will include a guide to the most important things I’ve learned in this document.

So far, for now, it’s important that you sit back straight close your eyes and become aware of your breath.
Don’t become attached to anything happening. Don’t think “I shouldn’t think.” Just accept it.
Don’t think “I can’t do it.” Just accept it.

This means whatever comes up is meant to come up. Let it be there. Stay with it.
Say thank you and I am fully present with this emotion/insight/feeling/sensation.
Stay with it and accept it as your teacher. It might show you in which direction you should go.
Or where there are still suppressed fears. Where there is tension in your body and where you hold back.

The breathing will show you where you hold back as well. Because when we got older often times we might hold back our breath.
Which results in some organs and parts of our body not feeling good anymore.

This is the time for you where you get rid of all things and spending some quality time for and with yourself only.
This time is only for you. For no one else.

10.) Reconsider your Baseline

Reconsidering your baseline means to have a look back as well considering everything from every angle,
from different angles and do something like a retrospective to become aware where you’re at and where you started.

What were the conditions why you started?
Are they still the same?
Where are you heading to know?
Is this still the case?
Do you need to change anything?

And one of the far most important crucial things is:

Might your baseline have been wrong or become wrong and you have to reconsider it?

Bonus Tipp:

11.) See everything as a Tutorial, Best Friend, and Expensive Product

If you’ve read about these things before you might now just say:

Yeah, I know that already!!!

And not even listen anymore because you think you’re good. Nothing to get out of this.
So you don’t need to read it anyway.

Tutorial

Why seeing everything as a tutorial? Because that means that you not only read it,
or only to try to grasp the idea. No, you try to apply the knowledge. And especially when building an online business
you’ll definitely see how far the gap from applying to just reading can be.

Often we wish for more guidance, exact steps. And I’ve wasted a lot of time doing this.
Why are the steps not more concrete? Because the way you might build your blog might be so specific that a concrete step might not help.

“Now add a shopping cart”, but you intend to do a site like Wikipedia or anything where you think it wouldn’t even make the slightest sense to add a shopping cart. So you’d either have to search for a very concrete tutorial similar to your business or you have to be satisfied with a wider view of the tutorial. Another thing is to collect information that will help your exact type of business.

Do a research and consider carefully if this information that was written is really helpful. Is it applicable? Is the site trustworthy?
What gut feeling you’d have when applying it? Is it legal or does it harm any laws?

Best Friend

Why seeing these articles/videos and so on as best friends as well?
Because a best friend is someone who you will value very much. As well as his knowledge and wisdom.
You won’t just want to see him one time. No. You want to share more time with him.
This means you’ll re-read or review this articles from time to time and even re-actualize your notes.

Expensive Product

Why see it as an expensive product? Because that means if you consider the articles worth 1000$ or more
this might be quite a lot of money to you right now. So you want to make sure you’ll get the most out of it.
That means: You can overthink if you’ve really got the idea. Did you apply it?
Did you make notes? Did you only make notes about how to apply it? Remembering it?
Or did you even make notes how you can involve what’s contained?
If it’s a video you might re-watch it. If it’s a video about body language, presence or charisma
you might watch it one time without sound. Re-watch it without looking at it. Closing your eyes and just hearing.
What’s the overall vibe? The tonality? How does it make you feel? Where do you reject anything, distort or can’t let it in or believe?
Where are you holding back because it scares you?
Consider all this and I bet you will have more thoughts that will help you to execute on this.
